About Perms

When it comes to perming, perms are meant to give hair a texture that it currently doesnt have. 
A perm no longer means a grandma frizzy type of perm. The perms I provide are more modern and wont give you the dreaded ‘poodle’ look.

About:
There are two Perm services that I provide. Digital Perm or and American Wave. 
Digital Perms [also know as Korean/Japanese Perming] are done with a perm machine and heat applied to help create the curls in your hair
American Wave [a heatless perm technique] this is done with out heat to create the curl.

These two results have similar outcomes. The biggest difference is service time. A Digital perm has many steps and takes about 3-4 hours depending on length and density of hair.
An American Wave takes about 2 hours on most hair lengths.

A few things to consider before emailing me about Perm Services.
Perms are best when done on:
- Healthy non damaged hair
- Virgin hair
- Non colored hair
- Non previously permed hair [digital or american wave]

Perms are not for you if:
Your hair doesn’t qualify for a perm if you dont have any of the above. If you choose to not disclose a thorough hair history of chemical services done to your hair, please know that perming your hair will cause damage that is irreversible.
Pregnant - I am unsure if the chemicals from this service affect pregnant women, women who are possibly pregnant, or trying to conceive. I would consult a doctor before emailing me to book an appointment.
You are sensitive to the smell of chemicals
Not willing to learn how to style a new texture in your hair.

If you would like to have this service done, please email me and i can ask you more questions to see what would be the best fit for you and your lifestyle. Typically I tend to book these on the weekends so i can provide full attention for you. Some weekday appointments can be done as well.
